Hello! I’m Ace from Boiler Shield and I’d like to share with you my best tips for an energy efficient home…
Generating the energy we use to heat, light and power our homes all contributes to climate change and what we do as individuals can make a real impact on our greenhouse gas emissions, as a significant proportion come from our everyday activities. If everyone took steps to save energy, the combined effect would make a real difference to our planet.
The supply of energy is essential to heat our homes, run businesses, deliver public services and to transport goods and people. However, much of our power is still generated by burning fossil fuels – coal, oil and gas – all of which release CO2 as they burn. Once this greenhouse gas has been released into the atmosphere, it traps heat from the sun, resulting in climate change and eventually, global warming.
Making small changes in your home and daily life to save energy will help to reduce the impact of global warming. I have put together a collection of my best tips and advice for making your home more energy efficient (plus you’ll save money too!) – please use the links below to find out how you can reduce your carbon footprint.Ace Antarctica
